Dear Chuck,

Our Rotary Club, the Chilliwack Fraser Rotary Club, celebrated our 25th Anniversary in February of 2008 with a dinner / dance for 300 people. We wanted to celebrate the event in style, and what better way to do that than have the Legendary Night Train Revue as the evening’s entertainment ? The band consists of most of the best R & B players of the Vancouver music scene of the 60’s and 70’s plus several newer members, and can they ever put on a show !

Our members are generally between the ages of 35 and 65, and so a great dance band playing R & B standards was the way to go. Everyone would find something to their liking. We were not disappointed, as the dance floor was packed from the moment the band started playing. We wanted the event to be a fund-raiser as well as an evening of dining, dancing and celebration, so we needed to give people value for their money. The band was definitely a strong selling point. Many of us had heard them over the years, and enthusiastically sold the event mainly on the strength of the band. In fact we had a group of twelve people, with no connection to our Club, who joined us simply to come and dance and enjoy the band, having heard that the band was playing in Chilliwack that evening.

Aside from being a great bunch of musicians, the band was a pleasure to deal with in terms of arranging the evening. They even showed up and started exactly on time !

I would not hesitate to recommend the Night Train Revue for any event calling for a consummate group of musicians who will keep your audience entertained and dancing all night long. I hope to book them again in the not too distant future, for another organization I’m involved with.

Thanks to Chuck Cliff, and the rest of the band.

Rob Nicklom, Chilliwack Fraser Rotary Club
